Melton Country Park Musings
Welcome to visual musings from my ambles through Melton Mowbray's Country Park. The Park is quite rich in nature, on the Northern edge of Melton Mowbray, and conveniently on my doorstep. It lures me in almost daily, and is a pleasant green space in which to unwind and connect with nature.

January 2025
Captures on my 65 year old Leica M2 analogue-film camera during late January when the Country Park was transformed by the wonders of Mother Nature into a magical, Winter wonderland.
Spring 2024
On the other side of this well-kempt hedgerow are Redwood Avenue Allotments - pictured below. Excluding a Community Allotment further into the park, this allotment is the smallest in the park with 18 plots, with then Doctors Lane Allotments comprising of 67 plots towards the upper, Southern end of the park. I am hoping to become a member of the Community Allotments. They are a welcoming bunch of allotmenteers and the set-up will suit me well.
